　　报告题目： Non-Volatile Memory Technology: The Criticality, Challenge and Approach 

　　Abstract: Non-Volatile Memory technology is the backbone of modern semiconductor industry. The unique attributes of endurance and data retention make it very challenging technically. Economical requirement also demands new wave of technology development to overcome the existing scaling issue. This presentation will discuss the criticality, challenge and approach to develop new non-volatile memory technology. 

　　About the Speaker：Dr. John Wang received BS EE from Tsinghua University and Ph.D. EE from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He is currently CEO of Shanghai CiYu Information Technology, a world leading MRAM company dedicated to new memory technology. John brought to CiYu wealth of unique experience of technical and managerial expertise. Before joining CiYu, Dr Wang was VP of Product Development at Spansion, a spinoff from AMD, the largest Flash memory company dedicated to Flash memory solution. The products under his leadership include parallel NOR, serial NOR, NAND, MCP, EMMC, etc., for both embedded and stand alone applications. The products developed were used in Spansion's over $2B annual revenue and captured 70% of automotive NOR worldwide market. During his 20 years tenure at AMD/Spansion, Dr. Wang went through process module development, process integration, Fab yield improvement, and finally product line development.  He also had extensive customer experience where he interacted with key tier1 customers to jointly debug and qualify new products to meet their stringent quality requirement. Dr. Wang has more than 30 US patents.
